Goal: Get your answers accepted in GitHub Discussions.

✅ What counts

• You answer a question in a repo’s Discussions, and the asker marks your reply as the accepted answer.
• The discussion must be in the “Q&A” category (that’s the one with accepted answers).

🪜 Step-by-step

1. Enable Discussions on a repo you own: Settings → General → Features → ✅ Discussions. 💬
2. Create a discussion in the Q&A category (e.g. “How do I …?”).
3. From another account (a friend’s, or a second account you own), post an answer to that question.
4. As the question owner, click Mark as answer ✔️ on that reply.
5. The account whose answer was accepted earns progress toward the badge. 🧠

💡 Tips

• The most rewarding route: genuinely answer questions in active open-source projects that use Q&A Discussions.
• You need 2 accepted answers to unlock; 8 / 16 / 32 for the tiers.
